I can't say enough about this wonderful little Catholic school for preK-8th grade students. Our boys love it here! We tried out our local public school before we decided to send our children to MBS. Now we feel confident that our boys are getting a great education at a school where they feel safe, loved, and valued as individuals. Can't ask for much more than that!

Mission Basilica School is a good private school for you to send your kids to because it is so small your classes feel like a family.

Our children have attended Mission Basilica School since 2010 and our youngest will graduate from MBS in 2027. Our children excel academically and I know that graduates of MBS are well prepared for high school. In addition to academic excellence MBS provides something that is hard to put into words, it's a feeling. There is pride amongst the students that comes from attending school steeped in tradition and historical significance. There's a warmth you feel when you see 8th graders reading to the Kindergarten class, and the look on the face of your 1st grade child when a middle school student waves to them. MBS students gain confidence and leadership skills from singing and performing in front of hundreds on the Mission grounds and participating in weekly mass in the Basilica. My Uncle who is a Dominican Priest of 60+ years visited the campus recently and he said it best, "What a wonderful school. It's not just the teachers and faculty, it's the students and parents. Truly remarkable!"
